Main Stud Girdle FORD 302 351 460

This is a MUST if you are making Big horsepower. These engines with today's technology are capable of making more horsepower than the block can contain and the weak point becomes the main web of the block. This girdle works to stabilize the main caps by spreading the load evenly over all the main caps, making the block much stronger. Hawks Racing steel main stud girdles are machined from 3/8" billet steel to our specs. Easy installation, the tops of the main caps may require belt sanding or grinding to ensure clearance for the main girdle. Flat surfaces are finished using CNC machine center for accuracy and smoothness.
