| Modern piston design locates the top right higher for improved performance. A high top operates at higher temperatures and requires a larger top ring end gap. This is an all out hypereutectic, T-6 heat treated piston with the machining features of our new generation alloy, which is a slow conductor of heat. Lock rings and pins are included with no separate cost. Hyper pistons have a low conductivity of the alloy and a reflective piston top surface which lowers oil temperature, reduces combustion heat and pressure loss. |
